We love doing simple origami and this time we’re going to learn how to make a paper boat – a summer favorite! Andreja has done quite a few awesome origami tutorials for kids and each of them is a must make! We loved to make these easy origami boats as a kid (the exact same ones) and we loved to play with them even more – we would sail them in the bathtub, puddles and lakes and when possible even have boat races with other neighborhood kids. So grab some colorful (origami) paper and fold a few origami boats with the kids and do a fun summer boat race!

Are you looking for some fun activities for kids to do at home? Here is a super cute craft project to make lovely turtle toys from recycled plastic bottles. It’s very easy to make. Basically you just need to cut out the bottom of a plastic bottle, invert it and sew it onto a craft foam piece, and then draw the turtle. It’s a project that the entire family can work together and kids will have fun creating and playing with these lovely turtle toys. You can put the turtle toys in water and they “swim” like sea turtles. Or you can put some beans or coins inside to make some music when shaking. Anyway, there are lots of fun!!
